Fabio Quartararo will not be double MotoGP world champion in 2022. After leading the championship almost all year, the French rider was overtaken at the end of the season by Francesco Bagnaia.
The Italian, who was 91 points behind Quartararo at the halfway point, was crowned Sunday, November 6 by finishing 9th in the Grand Prix of Valencia, Quartararo finishing an insufficient 4th place.
