CPA Liran Mokhtar was officially appointed CEO of Hapoel Tel Aviv today (Sunday), and will replace Odelia Perdiman who announced the end of her position about two weeks ago.
After he presented to the owner a neat plan, which includes a different organizational culture that he intends to lead in the club, it was decided that Liran is the most suitable person to move the club forward.
Liran brings with him managerial and financial experience, while at the club he is remembered as a valued administrator - and his return to the most senior administrative position in the system was natural.
The announcement was made to the group's subscribers a few minutes ago in the club's official newsletter along with a personal appeal from the new CEO.
Mokhtar served as the club's CFO between 2018-2020, when in the past he worked for several large companies in the economy.
On behalf of the club's owners, it was stated: "We believe that Liran is the right person to manage the club, to lead it to managerial and professional achievements and to engage in the sale procedures. From our acquaintance with Liran, he is an excellent and valuable manager, with great abilities - and highly valued by all the club members. We believe in cooperation His action with Omer Buxenbaum and together they will be the spearhead of the club's managerial avenue and outline a managerial path based on professionalism and good human relations."
Mokhtar commented on his appointment: "I am excited to return to the club and thank the owners for the trust they have placed in me. I am aware of the magnitude of the responsibility placed in my hands and the many challenges we face.
