Antonin Hajek holds the Czech record in ski flying.
He's been missing for over a month without a trace.
Munich – Worrying news from the Czech Republic: Former ski jumping star Antonin Hajek has been missing for more than a month.
This is reported by the Czech media, and the police also confirmed the search for the 35-year-old.
"The search for the missing person is still ongoing.
The man hasn't contacted him since then," police spokeswoman Adela Fialova was quoted as saying in the
Blesk
newspaper .
The family had filed a missing persons report.
There is speculation about a job in Malaysia, but nothing has been confirmed.
Former ski jumping star Hajek disappeared without a trace
According to the Czech newspaper

, he recently divorced his wife Veronika.
A good ten years ago, Hajek was one of the extended circle of world ski jumpers.
His specialty was ski flying.
His biggest jump was at the Ski Flying World Championships 2010 in Planica.
Its width of 236 meters is still the Czech national record.
Hajek ended his career in 2015 and later became the Czech national ski jumping coach for men and most recently for women.
As

continues to write, an affair with a Czech ski jumper recently became public.
It is possible that Hajek dares to make a new start in a foreign country.
Ski jumping: DSV-Adler botch the start of the season
A few weeks ago, the biathlete and Czech compatriot Gabriela Soukalova also disappeared for one night.
She spent the night alone at over 2000 meters after becoming disoriented.
The news of Hajek's disappearance comes at the start of the Ski Jumping World Cup in 2022.
The first competition of the new season took place in Wisla, Poland - for the first time in World Cup history on mats, not on snow.
Local hero Dawid Kubacki won the season opener.
The first competition was disappointing for the DSV-Adler.
Karl Geiger missed the final, no German jumper made it into the top ten.
