The climate within the French Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) is not likely to calm down after this new development.
According to our information, the former secretary general of the institution Didier Seminet filed a complaint against President Brigitte Henriques for "slanderous denunciation" and "breach of trust".
As a reminder, Didier Seminet had been expelled from the CNOSF on September 12 after a vote by the board of directors at the request of Brigitte Henriques, plunging the institution into an internal crisis.
In early October, the president of the CNOSF then filed a complaint for "psychological violence" against him.
In this complaint, filed on September 19 or 20, the former vice-president of the French Football Federation (FFF) detailed several meetings and exchanges spread over several months with its secretary general who "shocked" her, once evoking a “threatening” behavior, and assured to live rather “badly” the situation.
Didier Seminet reacted in a letter addressed to the members of the CNOSF board of directors that we were able to consult: “I am flabbergasted!
What is the point of such calumny?
Here I am cataloged as a stalker in the media with more than 420,000 occurrences on Google associating my name with that of violence!
The first thought that comes to me: why didn't she do it before if it was so unbearable?
Who among you would support such ignominy: being publicly denigrated, defamed and more without having the slightest element of explanation?

“An extreme situation”
“With regard to my family, my professional activity and my environment, I must prove that I have nothing to do with what Brigitte Henriques accuses me of and therefore informs you that I filed today, in my turn, a complaint to obtain compensation, ”he adds.
“Know that I would obviously have preferred not to come to what I consider to be an extreme situation, but neither President Brigitte Henriques nor those who support her left me no other choice.

After the big turmoil of a month ago, Brigitte Henriques had announced to take a rest and to withdraw for an indefinite period.
In this sense, it had decided to "delegate the operational part of its missions" to four leaders: Jean-Pierre Siutat (president of the French basketball federation and vice-president of the CNOSF), Michel Caillot (treasurer), Astrid Guyart ( appointed secretary general) and Sébastien Poirier (vice-president of the CNOSF and president of the Motorcycling Federation).
