Coach Julian Nagelsmann clarified after the game on the Sky microphone: "He got a hit on the head of the shin.

We'll have to x-ray that, it's an uncomfortable spot.

I hope it's nothing serious."

The Senegalese may even be at risk of the World Cup, which starts in Qatar on November 20th.

How bad Mané really is, should then be announced in the course of Wednesday.

"Big mistake": Salihamidzic's son breaks off the loan after just four months

Update from November 7, 1:36 p.m .:

Nick Salihamidzic, son of Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, surprisingly canceled his loan from the MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps.

On his Instagram channel, the 19-year-old announced his decision to end the loan, which was supposed to last a year and a half, with immediate effect.

He is no longer with the club.

The right-back will temporarily rejoin the Bayern amateurs and wants to have found a new club by winter.

FC Bayern meets PSG in the Champions League round of 16 – those responsible are optimistic

First report from November 7th:

Munich – On Monday afternoon all eyes were on the home of European football in Nyon, where the first knockout round matches of the Champions League were drawn.

Three of the four possible Bayern opponents were already off the table after the fourth drawn pairing, so it was clear early on that Munich would meet Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16.

The day after the draw, however, the record champions' pros must focus on the upcoming English week.

Shortly after the draw, the Bayern bosses gave their opinion on the round of 16 pairing against PSG, drawn by former Bayern professional Hamit Altintop.

For the CEO, Oliver Kahn, described the chances for his Munich team as "fifty-fifty" and spoke of a "great challenge".

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, on the other hand, exuded optimism that the game would be "a treat for every fan".

Julian Nagelsmann was also asked about the draw at the press conference on Monday afternoon and said confidently: "Paris won't be happy either".

However, the coach mostly spoke about the imminent task in the Bundesliga.

On Tuesday evening (8.30 p.m.) things continue with the home game against in-form Bremen.

After victories against Hertha and Schalke, the North Germans arrive with a big chest.

"They play aggressively and will challenge us a lot tomorrow night," was Nagelsmann's announcement for the league game.

Thomas Müller will be absent from FC Bayern until after the World Cup – “Too much risk and not enough sense”

His team will also have to adapt to the particularly strong Werder attacker Niklas Füllkrug, who seems to be about to be nominated for the World Cup squad.

Thomas Müller is one of the men who will not play for Bayern Munich against Bremen.

The 33-year-old national player is "on the mend" after hip problems, but Nagelsmann would "like to give him some rest before the World Cup" and spoke of "too much risk and too little sense".

But even without Müller, a home win against the promoted team is undoubtedly a must.
