90th + 3 minutes:

Off!

End!

Over.

Zwayer whistles the game.

90 minutes:

There are three extra minutes.

83 minutes:

Bayern let the ball run, Nagelsmann made five changes.

There aren't any chances.

76 minutes:

Not much is happening in the Veltins Arena anymore.

Bayern aren't trying to increase their lead to 3-0, and Schalke are apparently largely satisfied with the result.

Musiala tries again from 13 meters, but Schwolow has something against the youngster's goal.

dream goal Musiala!

Even Lothar Matthäus at

almost falls off his seat. "I'm going home," says the record national player, who accompanies the game as a co-commentator: "I've seen everything." The youngster is played halfway up in the penalty area and picks the ball down , pushes his body in nicely and dribbles out the keeper.

Too bad he was just offside before.

62 minutes:

What Musiala shows again today is simply outstanding.

The 19-year-old is the linchpin on the offensive.

His dribbles inspire and his passes bring success - the youngster prepared both goals.

60 minutes:

First change at Bayern.

Matthijs de Ligt comes into play, Sané is now off work for him.

FC Bayern at Schalke 04 now in the live ticker: Choupo-Moting complete the dream counterattack

52 minutes: GOOOOOOOOOOOR!

A Schalke free kick made it 2-0 because Bayern countered superbly.

Musiala gets the ball via Gnabry, the youngster puts Choupo-Moting in the limelight.

The Cameroonian stays cool in front of Schwolow and thinks perfectly into the short corner.

49 minutes:

First conclusion in the second half.

Sané tries with the right from 18 meters - but a good two meters past the Schalke box.

46 minutes:

It continues with the second round at Schalke.

+++ 1st half: Phew, tough stuff in the Veltins Arena.

Bayern are having a hard time here because the actions on the offensive aren't always completed with 100% concentration.

The hosts defend cleverly and sometimes play with six people in one line.

A magical Musiala moment is enough for Gnabry to take the lead.

45th + 1 minute:

break at Schalke!

42 minutes:

Almost Gnabry again!

Choupo-Moting is played with his back to goal in the penalty area and puts it through to Gnabry, but Yoshida gets his foot in between at the last moment.

Dream combo brings first hits

38 minutes: GOOOOOOOOOR!

There is the lead for FC Bayern.

Musiala goes steep, gets the ball in the penalty area and puts the heel on Gnabry, who turns flat with the left from 13 meters.

35 minutes:

The game is now interrupted because Drechsler is being treated.

Schalke had rushed together in a duel with Sané.

32 minutes:

Bayern lacks the last concentration in the actions.

Simple bad passes, first contacts that jump.

That doesn't make things any easier here.

From a corner, Choupo-Moting heads in to the near post, but Schwolow reacts brilliantly and uses the post to parry.

26 minutes:

Now Bayern has the first chance!

Coman crosses to the middle, where Gnabry is criminally free.

But his header is too unplaced, Krauss clears the six-yard box with his knee in front of Schwolow and immediately celebrates his defensive action.

FC Bayern at Schalke 04 now in the live ticker: Neuer has to save!

Promoted annoys FCB

23 minutes:

First big chance in the game!

Bülter is released on the left because Kimmich is a little too high.

The Schalke marches in the direction of the FCB goal, but Neuer is able to parry his shot from a tight angle.

In return, Bayern then gamble away a good counterattack situation because Sané and Coman don't get along.

17 minutes:

Now Leroy Sané tries a long-range shot.

But the ex-Schalke chases the ball to the third floor.

Schwolow hasn't had to hold anything yet.

12 minutes:

Tough number so far here for the league leaders.

Schalke is deep and defends with almost six men in a line, which of course doesn't make it easy for Bayern.

Except for two shots from a distance, there was nothing exciting to see from the Nagelsmanns.

7 minutes:

Now the first conclusion of FC Bayern.

But Gnabry chases the ball halfway to the right of the penalty area over the box.

5 minutes:

First corner in the game – and it's for the hosts.

Gnabry is played on the center line with his back to the goal, but is under heavy pressure, which is why the ball bounces forever in the direction of the FCB goal.

Neuer tries to prevent the corner at the corner flag, but fails to do so.

3 minutes:

It is exciting in the first few minutes how Kimmich interprets the position of the right-back.

When in possession, he moves far up, creating a chain of three.

If he loses the ball, he drops immediately.

That means a lot of walking.

1st minute: kick-off!

Referee Felix Zwayer releases the game.
