Joshua Kimmich: The pressure at the World Cup is even higher than at Bayern

That's why Kimmich has big plans for the upcoming World Cup.

"I've been waiting for a new chance for four and a half years now," said the 27-year-old.

In a group with opening opponents Japan, Costa Rica and Spain - that is the German schedule for the World Cup in Qatar - the prelude to a successful World Cup should be set.

According to Kimmich, the pressure is even a little higher in Qatar than at Bayern Munich, as the national team has been chasing success for some time and as a player you don't get as many opportunities to win a title for your country.
