Double digits again: EV Moosburg goes under in Haßfurt

First 3:13, now 2:14: EV Moosburg conceded the next clap against the Haßfurt Hawks on Sunday.
The first goal came after twelve seconds.

– After the 3:13 in the first leg, EV Moosburg also experienced a debacle when they met in Haßfurt and got a lesson at 2:14, especially in the first third.
"We had a plan for how we were going to play against the Hawks.
But I was able to throw it away after a few minutes.
They set a pace that was too fast for us.
We were always a step too late," said EVM coach Benoit Doucet.
Jakub Sramek started the lively target shooting after just twelve seconds when he sprinted unhindered with the target into Moosburg's third defense and shot in to make it 1-0 (1st).
Lucas Büchner (3rd), Daniel Hora (7th/9th), Lukas Kratschmer (14th), Dominik Tobola (17th) and Noah Endres (20th) increased the result to 7:0 before the first break.

After that, the hosts took it easy.
The EVM got into the game, kept putting Haßfurt under pressure and had a few good chances, but an excellent Nicolas Hetzel in the Hawks goal destroyed them.
And so Hora (22nd) and Jan Trübenekr (25th) extended the lead to 9:0 before Cedrick Chagnon scored the deserved first goal for green and yellow (27th).
At the back, the Moosburgers conceded the 1:10 through Michael Stach (37th), so that the result was in double digits after two thirds.

After the second break, things got hotter.
The EVM tried to play along and counteract more robustly, which the Hassfurt noble technicians didn't like at all.
Both teams received five penalties each.
But that didn't stop the flood of goals: Tomas Pribyl (42'), Stach (44'), Trübenekr (49') and Sramek (58') scored for the hosts, while Benjamin Franz scored the second goal for the visitors (52').
At the ESC, for whom it was the fourth double-digit win this season on Sunday, Daniel Hora was the outstanding man this time with three goals and six assists.
