The defender of the national team and Maccabi Haifa, Shawn Goldberg, is suffering from pain in the lower back, where he was injured in his team's last league game against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Because of this, it is doubtful whether the national team's coach, Alon Hazan, will let him start the game against Zambia.
If Goldberg is not 100 percent fit, Raz Shlomo will play alongside Miguel Vitor in the center of defense.
In midfield, Hazan tends to go up with captain Beavers Natcho, along with Aden Kartsev and Gabi Kanikowski.
