The ice hackers from EV Moosburg want to score points in Fürstenfeldbruck on Friday.
On Sunday in Waldkirchen the grapes are hanging higher.
Moosburg
– EV Moosburg wants to get at least three points this weekend on foreign ice.
The first goal is a threesome at EV Fürstenfeldbruck on Friday from 7:15 p.m.
The task will be much more difficult on Sunday at 5.30 p.m. when the Dreirosenstädter have to play at ESV Waldkirchen.
In the open-air stadium of the EVF, the Moosburg state league team would be only too happy to build on the performance of the previous week in Ottobrunn.
Coach Benoit Doucet's squad celebrated their first clear win of the season with a 7-0 win.
The coach was particularly pleased about the many different EVM goal scorers and the fact that the opposing goal was finally under constant fire.
The people of Isarstadt then wanted to continue that two days later in Haßfurt and were beaten off with a time of 2:14.
"We're not strong enough to get three points against teams like that, especially in away games.
You have to be realistic about that,” says Doucet.
Fourth place seems far away for the EVM
EV Fürstenfeldbruck felt the same way last weekend.
In the two home games against ESV Waldkirchen (3:6) and EV Dingolfing (4:8) there were two defeats.
A setback for Brucker: They are flirting with a place in the top four in order to reach the promotion round.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
ESV Waldkirchen top-class staff
The point of view at the EVM is now different.
Fourth place seems far away - and with ESV Waldkirchen there is a team that, like Haßfurt, has a fairly relaxed approach to the quota rule.
Benoit Doucet's former club not only has ex-DEL professional Nathan Robinson in the squad, but also some Czech players in Petr Sulcik, Tomas Rousek, Ladislav Paule, Tomas Parizek and Jan Bojer.
There is also the Finnish newcomer Janne Harkka and the Austrian Mario Pichler.
What the Crocodiles troupe conjured up on the ice seemed playfully relaxed and light, but rarely so far.
There were clear defeats against the top teams Haßfurt (2:15) and Germering (4:8) - and there was also a slip in Selb (3:7).
Maybe EVM trainer Doucet has some tips for his team on how to pull the tooth out of the crocodiles.
