What happened?
In the game against Osasuna, the 34-year-old saw the yellow card in the eleventh minute after a tactical foul.
In the 31st minute, Lewandowski was given the traffic light card for elbowing Osasuna's captain David Garcia in an aerial duel.

After the game, Lewandowski explained the finger action as a gesture towards Barca coach Xavi.
The Spanish federation saw things differently, however, and so Lewy watched three games after the World Cup.
The world footballer missed the derby against Espanyol (December 31) and the hit at Atletico Madrid (January 8).
He is also absent from the Spanish Cup, but the exact date and opponent for FC Barcelona have not yet been set.

Lewandowski was last kicked off in 2013, when he was still wearing a Borussia Dortmund jersey.
At that time he missed two BVB games.
