The Syrian women's volleyball team lost to its Lebanese counterpart by two to three, in its third match in the first West Asian Championship, which is currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

Our team defeated the Palestinian team in its first match and the Saudi team in its second match, with the same result, by three runs without a response.

And our team will meet in its fourth and final match of the preliminary round of the tournament with its Iraqi counterpart tomorrow for the first group, knowing that the second group includes the teams of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman and Kuwait.

The tournament system stipulates that the preliminary round will be held in the league system from one round, and the top four of each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, and the following rounds will take place in the knockout system.
