The Al Bayt stadium, where the opening match of the 2022 World Cup, Qatar-Ecuador, will take place on Sunday as well as six other matches including a semi-final, is intended as the absolute setting for Qatari architecture.
But the hardest part for the 60,000 spectators expected will not be admiring the jewel but rather going to the jewelry store.
Because the Al Bayt stadium is the only one that will not be accessible by metro.
