The amateur leagues in England make sure to occasionally provide bizarre events, but it seems that the incident that happened last weekend broke new records in British terms as well.

The game between the two amateur teams Warrington Town and Guiseley hit the headlines after Warrington goalkeeper Tony Thompson was sent off following a freak incident.

During the game, a video was uploaded to social networks in which a Guiseley fan breaks into the field, approaches Thompson's goal, and replaces his water bottle with another bottle.

The title of the video: "I peed in the janitor's juice."

When Thompson realized what had happened, he approached the same fan and sprayed him with the new bottle.

Following this, the referee chose to send the goalkeeper away and in effect "give a reward" to Guiseley for the ugly act of her fan.

With a numerical advantage, Guiseley managed to score the only goal in the match and win 0:1.

A shocked Thompson later wrote on Twitter: "I've lost love for this game today. I've been called names, but when someone urinates in my bottle and I drink from it and then they say I'm not allowed to react because I'm a player - this is ridiculous. This man put my family's health at risk and made me to be sick".
