In a full house at the Hôtel Drouot (Paris IXe), a sale of a few hundred jerseys delighted football fans.

A red jersey caused a sensation this Saturday at the Hôtel Drouot in the 9th arrondissement of Paris during an exceptional sale of 440 lots including 76 jerseys from the French team worn or prepared (usually the player's 3rd game of jerseys) .

This tunic of the Swiss selection used for the 1934 and 1938 World Cup sold for the sum of 25,000 euros.

"In 20 years, it's the second jersey from the 1930s that I have in my hands," admits Jean-Marc Leynet, who appraised all the lots.

This sale went very well and achieved some pretty incredible results.

Museums and major collectors fought to win prizes, so this increased the sums.
