Guard Stevie Thompson Jr. signed with Bnei Herzliya Israel today

Bnei Herzliya announced this evening (Sunday) the signing of American-Puerto Rican guard Stevie Thompson Jr. (25 years old, 1.93) on a contract for a month and a half with the team's option to extend until the end of the season.

Thompson joins the team ahead of the start of the second round in the group stage of the Champions League and will also help the team in the Israeli league due to the injury of Quinton Hawker who is not yet fit to return and after Briante Weber's contract ended and the team chose not to extend the contract with him.

Thompson Jr. is the son of former player Stevie Thompson who played for Hapoel Emek Jezreel in the 1995/96 season.
