Qatar vs. Ecuador: World Cup opening game today in the live ticker

The start of the soccer World Cup in Qatar is getting closer.

Hosts Qatar meet Ecuador in the opening game on Sunday (20 November/5 p.m. German time).

The game will be played at al-Bayt Stadium in the coastal city of al-Khour.

The stadium can accommodate around 60,000 spectators.

For the Qatar national football team, it is the first participation in the finals of a World Cup.
