The World Cup in Qatar opens today (Sunday) with the opening match between the hosts and Ecuador.

The one who stole the show already in the first half is Ener Valencia, the striker of Fenerbahce.

He scored a brace already in the first half, after his early goal was disallowed due to a small difference.

Fenerbahçe, the striker's team, published an edited photo of him alongside Messi and Ronaldo in the famous photo published ahead of the tournament.

He is now also Ecuador's all-time top scorer in the tournament after passing Agustin Delgado.
