TuS: A strong half is not enough

TuS Geretsried had a chance in the last match before the winter break at VfB Forstinning.

Geretsried – With a 1-1 draw at VfB Forstinning, the TuS Geretsried footballers said goodbye to the winter break.

The eleven around captain Sebastian Schrills remain undefeated for the third game in a row - but Daniel Dittmann didn't seem really happy.

"I'm not satisfied," said the TuS trainer.

"Each of us would have signed a point before the game, but after the game the result didn't add up." At the break, his team had to be two or three goals ahead, the coach complained.

And they had their first chance to score: After Geretsrieder recklessly lost the ball in midfield, the game device reached Felix Meier, who quickly shot the ball and also used the inside post to make it 1-1.

"That was Forstinning's only real chance in the whole game," annoyed Dittmann, who saved the crossbar hit by a free-kick from Marko Nikolic (85') under the heading of coincidence.

“The overall performance was good.

It's a shame we didn't reward ourselves with three points," said the coach.

All in all, he draws a positive conclusion from his first games as head coach: "It was an up and down with a lot of background noise.

For now I'm satisfied that we ended the first half of the season well after the series of defeats.
