– In the last VfB home game of the football year 2022, things really got going in the stadium at the airport.
On the one hand, the "Ost Curve" fan club has apparently dug up new instruments again - and on the other hand, the VfB Hallbergmoos footballers again proved their full Bayernliga suitability in the 1-1 (0-0) win over TSV Nördlingen.
For months, the Hallbergmoosers were more victims than opponents in the league.
But since the big bang - four players were deported to the second team - things are going again.
As in the 1-1 draw seven days earlier at Schwaben Augsburg, VfB was doing well this time too.
In the first half in particular, the squad had more of the game, kicked 20 minutes very well and missed two top chances through emergency strikers David Lucksch and Philipp Beetz.
Lucksch in particular should have made it 1-0 after 16 minutes: he was released wonderfully, ran towards the box on his own and shot the keeper more than one could accuse him of a parade.
David Küttner, the acclaimed goal scorer in Augsburg last week, also failed completely free-standing a few seconds after the restart.
A goal throws VfB Hallbergmoos off track
On the other hand, Nördlingen was always dangerous.
The Swabians played a very simple but goal-oriented football that made sense on the difficult-to-play pitch.
With a quick attack they had created a majority situation shortly after the change of sides on the offensive and inevitably exploited it.
Manuel Meyer had little trouble scoring the goal (48').

After this goal the game went into a new phase, because the goal threw the Hallbergmooser Kicker completely off track.
The second and third prank of the Nördlinger seemed to be only a matter of a few minutes.
Goalkeeper Dominic Dachs twice saved the people in front in a one-on-one.
VfB now looked like the insecure penultimate table, inviting the opponent to score goals with mistakes.

Only in the final quarter of an hour did Hallberger get a second breath and earn the point.
The goal in the 82nd minute was significant.
For this was not footballing class, but merciless will responsible.
And the goalscorer couldn't have been anyone other than VfB mentality monster Andreas Giglberger: Simon Werner had cheated his way to the baseline and played inside into the six-yard box.
There Giglberger threw himself into the pass with everything he had and ended up in the TSV housing together with the game device.
With two draws in a row and now ten points on the account, the Hallbergmooser have a small upward trend.
This is also noticeable in the table, the team has drawn level with Türkspor Augsburg on points.
For the last game before the winter break, the Hallbergers are going to Augsburg next Sunday for a basement duel.
