The England national team achieved a big victory over Iran, 6-2, in the opening matches of Group B of the first round of the World Cup in Qatar, in the match that was held at Khalifa International Stadium.

The English national team threatened the goal of its Iranian opponent in the eighth minute through Harry Maguire’s ball, who almost opened the scoring, but his ball went past the goal, and the offensive pressure for England resulted in scoring the first goal that came in the 35th minute from Judd Blingham’s header, after which the series of goals began, and Bukayo Saka scored the goal. The second in the 44th minute, and one minute later the third goal came through Raheem Sterling.

The performance did not change much in the second half, but the England team continued to excel. Bukayo Saka scored the fourth goal for his country in the 62nd minute, while the Iranian team narrowed the difference with a goal by Mahdi Tarmi in the 65th minute. However, the England team shone again with a fifth goal, signed by Marcus. Rashford in the 71st minute, and in the last minute of the match England concluded the goal festival with a sixth goal that went to Jack Grealish, while the final moments gave a second goal to Iran, scored by Mahdi Tarmi from a penalty kick, to end the match with England winning 6 goals to 2.
