"I am sure that the lions will rise above themselves and will approach all games as a real final," said Africa's footballer of the year on Instagram.
The FC Bayern Munich professional injured his right fibula in the Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen and had to pull out of the World Cup.
The 30-year-old had a successful operation in Innsbruck last Thursday.
"Thank god the midweek surgery went well and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all and express my appreciation," wrote Mané, who is now out for about three months.

Now the "Lions of Teranga" have to do without him in their third appearance at the World Cup.
At the Al Thumama Stadium, Mané's teammate Matthijs de Ligt will appear from the start, the Munich central defender is expected in the starting XI.
Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong could also start on right-back.
The Senegalese also have a second Bundesliga professional in their ranks in Abdou Diallo from RB Leipzig.
