Top 14: Argentine opener Nicolas Sanchez leaves Stade Français for Brive with immediate effect

CA Brive announced on Monday the arrival of Argentinian opening half Nicolas Sanchez.

At 33, the South American therefore leaves the Stade Français with whom he was under contract until June 2023 but where he never won.

This transfer takes effect immediately.

Brive is the fourth club in Puma's Top 14 with 94 selections, after Bordeaux-Bègles (2011-2014), Toulon (2014-2015) and therefore the Stade Français where he had been playing since 2018.

In Brive, the former Parisian finds compatriots like Lucas Paulos, Rodrigo Bruni and Axel Muller in the locker room.

He is already in training on Monday.

Without resentment, the Stade Français wished him "good luck".

Brive is currently last in the Top 14 with a meager record of two wins for eight defeats.

The Corrèze club travels to Pau on Saturday (3 p.m.) on behalf of the 11th day and Sanchez should make his debut on this occasion.
