The German national soccer team will have to do without Leroy Sané in their World Cup opening game against Japan on Wednesday (2:00 p.m. CET/ARD and MagentaTV).
The Munich offensive player is not available against the four-time Asian champions due to knee problems.
The German Football Association (DFB) announced this on Tuesday before the final training session.
The remaining 25 players of the squad took part in the session in Al-Shamal.
After lunch, the four-time world champion makes his way to Qatar's capital, Doha, where captain Manuel Neuer and Co. will spend the night before the game at the five-star Hotel Dusit.
On Tuesday evening, Flick and Joshua Kimmich will take part in the final press conference.
