Before the final, scheduled for December 4 on the Parisian cinder, the fourteenth and last stage of the Grand National du Trot made a stopover in Seine-Maritime, on the racecourse rope to the left of Mauquenchy.

Among the sixteen competitors, spread over three starting rungs, the trotters starting from the first post took the lion's share by taking the first four places.

And the strongest of the two,

Gamay de l'Iton

(No. 3) made a strong impression by winning from start to finish.

Driven with great confidence by Gabriele Gelormini, this resident of Hughes Levesque thus won the second fifth of his career and allowed his Italian driver to win for the 49th time at this level.

Quickly well placed in the wake of the animators,

Flower By Magalou

(n°2) finished in a pleasant action without however questioning the superiority of the winner.

She is ahead

of Falco d'Havaroche

(n°7), the favourite, a constant extra, and

Edy du Pommereux

(n°6), a good finisher behind.

Forced to return 25m,

Duel du Gers

(n°13) finished in a pleasant action, which allowed him to steal fifth place from

Dona Viva

.

Disappointment with

Goéland d'Haufor

(n°4), author of a violent effort before the final bend, but who was unable to prolong his effort in the final phase.

He is content with eighth place behind

Divine Monceau

(n°5).

Note that

Fado du Chêne

(n°15) proved to be at fault shortly after the start while

Fragonard Délo

(n°1) broke up in the last bend when he was behind the leaders.

At the end of this stage,

Eire d'Hélios

keeps his leader's yellow jersey and has a four-point lead over

Django du Bocage.

Our Synthesis indicated the fifth in the disorder.
