Qatar's last-minute decision to ban alcohol from World Cup stadiums has left Budweiser with a lot of beer in storage and the company has a creative solution to what to do with them.
Budweiser will transfer the unsold shipments to the winning country in the tournament, the company said in a tweet.
The company confirmed the plans in a statement to CNN Business, writing that it "wants to bring this celebration from the FIFA World Cup stadiums to the fans of the winning nation."
"We will host the ultimate championship celebration for the winning country. Because for the winning fans, they took the World Cup. More details will be shared as we get closer to the final," added the company spokesperson.

Last week - just days before the World Cup was due to start - Qatar announced that its eight stadiums could not sell alcoholic Budweiser, leaving fans with only one beer option: non-alcoholic Bud Zero.
Qatar is a Muslim country that is considered very conservative, and it strictly regulates the sale and use of alcohol.
In September, officials said fans with tickets would be able to buy alcoholic beer three hours before kickoff and for one hour after the final whistle, but not during the game.
"Following discussions between the host country authorities and FIFA, a decision was made to target the sale of alcoholic beverages at the FIFA Fan Festival, other fan destinations and authorized venues, while removing beer sales points from the Qatar 2022 World Cup stadium complex."
