Germany's national soccer team sent a sign of protest before their first game at the World Cup in Qatar. The players around captain Manuel Neuer covered their mouths for the obligatory team photo before kick-off against Japan. The DFB selection sent a very obvious signal to the World Football Association (FIFA), which had banned the "One Love" captain's armband from Neuer and six other European team captains in Qatar.
