With the participation of Al-Wahda, Hattin, Al-Nawair, Al-Wathba, Tishreen, Al-Hurriya, Al-Jaish, Al-Jalaa, Al-Karama, Al-Taliah and Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo teams, the men’s basketball league competitions for first-division clubs will start tomorrow.
The Al-Wehda and Al-Nawair teams are cutting the competition ribbon by meeting Hattin and Tishreen, respectively, in Al-Fayhaa Sports Halls in Damascus, and Nasih Alwani Sports Halls in Hama.
The teams play with each other back and forth in the first round, and at the end of it the last two clubs are relegated to the second division, and the top four qualify for the final round in which the first plays with the fourth and the second with the third to win three out of five matches, and the two winners qualify for the final match that is held out of Seven confrontations, and if one of them wins four of them, he will be crowned with the title.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Ittihad team, Al-Ahly of Aleppo, won the Men’s Basketball League title after defeating Al-Karama, 77-68 points, last season.
