Augustama, 39, who was born in Haiti and represented the country at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, was arrested yesterday (Wednesday) and booked into jail on two counts of written threats to commit a mass shooting and one count of written threats to kill or cause injury.

The incident began when Augustama got into an argument at work earlier this month at the BOXR gym in Miami, so he was denied the right to return to work and was given a warning, but on Tuesday, he called the police so he could return to the gym to retrieve some personal items.

After that, he started posting threatening posts on Instagram.

In one post, he included a photo of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter, with a long caption that he was "considering shooting" several people in the gym.

Augustama added that he was "willing to shoot with a gun or a bazooka for justice," the report said. He also texted the witness with a picture of one of his intended victims, saying "I'll get my gun or something else - he's the first (RIP ).” After that, Augustama went to a pawn shop, where he put down a $150 deposit on an AK-47.
