Despite Avdia's ability, the Wizards lost to the Miami Heat in Florida 113:105, after coming back from a big 21-point deficit.
In the absence of Bradley Beal, Roy Hachimura and Monte Morris, Avdia proved he could be the one running the team's attacks, and was very dominant.
He started the match excellently with a move by Paul Wessel that put his team ahead 2:11, and in the middle of the second quarter he reached double figures for the sixth time in seven games after scoring a three.
