Bnei Sakhnin announced today (Thursday) the end of coach Haim Silves' career.
This morning the team's management met with Sylves and there he was informed of the decision.
The decision came against the background of a streak of six games without a win, where the last loss to Beitar Jerusalem (1:2) was the straw that broke the camel's back. Sylves explained in the conversation that he believes he can get the team out of the losing streak, what's more, Sakhnin is in seventh place and far Only two points from the top playoff, but the four has already fallen.
Chairman Muhammad Abu Younes, who is recovering from a previous catheterization, needed a few days to recover before the announcement to Sylves. Now, Bnei Sakhnin will be looking for a replacement for the coach, with the leading candidate being Kobi Yarofa, who was fired at the beginning of the season from Po'el Tel Aviv.
The club also fumbled around Marco Balbol, who is still a coach in the Indian League.
