A welcome initiative by the league director in basketball • Special ceremonies will be held before all games • Lili Ben Ami: "Murdering women in the pavilion is not destiny"

Tomorrow (Friday), the annual international day of struggle to prevent violence against women will be celebrated.

The 7th cycle in the Winner Cell League will be dedicated to the struggle and in cooperation of the league manager with the Michal Sela Forum, ceremonies will be held before each game in all the halls.

The league administration sees great importance in the fact that we have the right to help raise awareness for the prevention of violence against women in order to prevent future cases.

As part of this, the players will come up with shirts that will make it clear that we never give up!

Neither on the pitch nor off it.

It's time we all say no to violence against women!

The chairman of the league administration, Shmuel Frankel: "I welcome the privilege given to us as a league to lend a hand and take part in this very important struggle.

I have every hope that the message that came out of the halls will pass through every house in the country and we will no longer hear about such unfortunate cases in the future."

The late Michal Sela was brutally murdered in October 2019 in her home by her husband and her daughter's father.

The Michal Sella Forum is a non-profit organization founded by Lili Ben Ami, Michal's sister, with the aim of preventing the next murder. The organization works to prevent violence against women through innovation and technology. The forum emphasizes "thinking outside the box", personal entrepreneurship, responsibility , publicity and broad public awareness to identify the warning signs of violence in relationships. The goal of the forum: zero murders per year.

The CEO of the Michal Selah Forum, Lili Ben Ami: "At the Michal Selah Forum, our goal is zero murders per year.

I welcome the joining of the director of the Premier League in basketball and the combination of forces together with the Michal Sela Forum, in the journey to the goal.

This is an exciting move as the players are leaders in their community and 'role models' for youth, young people and adults.

The cooperation helps to raise public awareness that preventing feminicide is a task for all of us.

Murdering women in a pavilion is not a decree of fate."
