Nadim posted a black picture on Instagram and wrote: "On Tuesday morning my mother was killed by a truck.
She was just on her way home from the gym.”
The 103-time Denmark international also wrote: "Words cannot describe how I feel.
I lost the most important person in my life and it was so sudden and unexpected.
She was only 57. Life is unfair.
I don't understand why you and why this way.
I love you and will see you again."
World Cup in Qatar: Nadim fled from Afganistan
Nadim accompanied the 0-0 draw between Denmark and Tunisia on Tuesday (November 22nd) as a normal expert.
The Dane was suddenly absent from the discussion that followed.

The Denmark international was born in Afghanistan and grew up there.
She lost her father at a young age.
He was a general in the Afghan army and was executed by the Taliban in 2000.
Nadim's family subsequently fled to Denmark.

There the footballer started her professional career, which led her to top clubs such as Manchester City and Paris St. Germain.
Nadim has been under contract with Racing Loisville FC in the USA since 2022.
So far, the striker has played 103 international matches for the Danish national team, scoring 38 goals.
