Bayern Munich football club announced the absence of its French defender Lucas Hernandez due to injury.
The club stated on its official website that the left back of France, Hernandez, 26, suffered a severe injury to the ligaments of the right knee during the opening match of the French team against Australia in the 2022 World Cup, and he will undergo knee surgery, which will keep him out of action for a long time.
Hernandez played 11 matches with Bayern this season, including 10 meetings in the starting list of the team that occupies the top of the German League.
