When Bernhard Langer started his career as a professional golfer in 1976, Björn Borg won Wimbledon, Mönchengladbach became German soccer champion, Olympic gold in the women's 100 meter race went to Annegret Richter, Germany.
Since then the world has changed;
Langer just stayed.
In early November, he clinched his 44th win on the senior US professional tour at the tournament in Boca Raton.
One can marvel at the luck of a man who has long since only broken records that he set himself.
