Cristiano Ronaldo is currently without a club and would be available on a free transfer.

The ex-world footballer is repeatedly associated with FC Bayern.

Munich – Cristiano Ronaldo is back on the market.

After his scandalous interview shortly before the 2022 World Cup, his club Manchester United announced the separation on Tuesday evening.

That means: The five-time world footballer is suddenly available for free in winter.

Last summer, CR7 was repeatedly associated with FC Bayern.

Will Brazzo strike this time?

FC Bayern: Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer, Mané is injured for the time being – does Munich strike?

Before the season, FC Bayern had decided not to sign a new centre-forward to succeed Robert Lewandowski.

With Sadio Mané came an attacker who feels more comfortable on the outside on the left wing.

But the Senegalese injured himself shortly before the World Cup and had already had an operation on the fibula head by a knee specialist.

Mané is likely to be out for several months and will only be a real option again in spring 2023.

That could now force Bayern to act, with Cristiano Ronaldo a top striker would be available.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Bayern bosses have rejected the transfer

"I have a lot of respect for Cristiano Ronaldo, his successes and his career," Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic told Sport1 in July.

"But again, that wasn't and isn't an issue for us!" Brazzo gave Ronaldo a tough rejection - you would have other players "in the best footballer age".

CEO Oliver Kahn also spoke a word of power.

A Ronaldo transfer to Bayern?

Kahn admitted: "We discussed the issue".

The Bayern boss continued: "I personally think that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers that has ever existed on this planet.

But we came to the conclusion that, for all our appreciation, he would not have fitted our philosophy in the current situation.”

FC Bayern: Meeting with Cristiano Roaldo's advisor – what will happen to Choupo-Moting?

In view of the changed starting position, however, the opinion of the FCB bosses may have changed.

A Gaga rumor recently circulated about a meeting between Bayern bosses and Ronaldo advisor Jorge Mendes.

As the

Daily Mail

had reported, the German record champions should now be ready to talk.

Record within reach

With Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bayern have had a very reliable clipper in recent weeks.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Cameroonian can maintain his goal quota.

In addition, Choupo-Moting's FCB contract expires next summer.

Recently there was even talk of a farewell.

Choupo-Moting was traded, of all things, as a Ronaldo replacement at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo: At Bayern "you just shake your head"

A Ronaldo transfer still seems an unrealistic scenario.

At FC Bayern, you "just shake your head" at the speculation, reported

Bild

football boss Christian Falk in the "Bayern Insider" podcast.

In the summer, when the rumors came up, there were at least two calls from Mendes in Munich, but this time they were completely "irritated".

"There wasn't a meeting, there won't be one and Bayern doesn't want one either," explains Falk unequivocally.

In view of Cristiano Ronaldo's scandalous interview, in which the Portuguese accused his club of treason and railed against coach Erik ten Haag, Bayern should feel vindicated.

Bayern fear a split in the team because of Cristiano Ronaldo's ego and therefore prefer not to make a transfer.
