The preliminary round is over, and with an impressive streak of twelve points from four games, the Erding Gladiators have fought their way up to a place in the promotion round.

Erding – Team boss Felix Schütz's squad is only on duty once this weekend, tonight at 8 p.m. at front runner TEV Miesbach.

The Oberland team still has a bone to pick with the Gladiators, having lost 4-2 in Erding two weeks ago after 60 minutes for the first time this season, coach Michael Baindl - after a great performance by both Teams – took it pretty easy.

He knows exactly about the quality of his squad, which started in Erding with a severely weak replacement.

The personnel situation has relaxed at least a little at the Miesbachers.

However, there are still some top performers on the injured list, such as Sebastian Deml, Stefano Rizzo and Florian Heiss.

Ales Furch and top defenders Matthias Bergmann and Johannes Bacher are still on the brink.

TEV has now found a replacement for the long-term injured Czech goalscorer Bohumil Slavicek: Patrick Asselin is returning to Miesbach, but will only be eligible to play from December 1st, when the transfer window is open again.

But even so, the leader will be very strong.

"The table doesn't lie, Miesbach is the strongest team in the league," says Erding's team manager Schütz.

"And they are the clear favorites at home." What he has noticed so far: "There is a home advantage in the Bayernliga." After all, all the players would do regular work and then spend a certain amount of time on the bus, which would have a negative impact especially on physical freshness.

As for his squad, there are some gaps.

Erik Modlmayr had recovered from his injury and is now ill.

For Elias Maier, who was also recently injured, "it's still too early to play," Schütz states.

Christoph Furtner, who tore an inner ligament in his knee against Amberg, will be out longer.

Lukas Krämmer was unable to train due to illness and Daniel Krzizok is injured.

But the Gladiators coach doesn't want to whine.

"We're getting reinforcements from Landshut again, the three now tried and tested promotional license players also trained with us all week," says Schütz.

"In addition, some of our U20 players will also be in the squad so that we can get enough players together." As agreed, Christoph Schedlbauer will be in goal again, who was not there last week.

because he became a father.

"Schedl had divided it up well, it was already agreed that Thomas Hingel would hold both games," says Schütz with a laugh and says: "We're looking forward to the game."
