The German national team loses the first game against Japan at the 2022 World Cup.

Ar-Rayyan – Germany suffered a severe setback at the start of the 2022 World Cup.
The German national team lost 2-1 to Japan on Wednesday afternoon.
Ilkay Gündogan gave the DFB team the lead in the first half with a penalty kick (33rd minute).
But the Blue Samurai turned the game around after the break with goals from Ritsu Doan (76') and Takuma Asano (83').
The criticism of the eleven of national coach Hansi Flick is of course great after the defeat - also abroad.

"Algemeen Dagblad": "Germany makes an impression with a statement, but doesn't let its legs speak and goes down against Japan.
Germany only impressed ahead of the game against Japan on Wednesday.
With a crashing statement against FIFA, the players gave a clear message.
The performance afterwards was much less convincing.
Which meant: Just like four years ago, the team experienced another unsuccessful start, this time with the 1: 2 against Japan.
