The seventh round of the National League started today (Friday) with three games.
In Moked, Elitzur Ashkelon beat Hapoel Hebel Modi'in and Karon Deshields (30 points in the debut) after overtime.
Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan beat Maccabi Urban Ra'anana 89:99, and Hapoel Afula also kept home with a convincing victory over Maccabi Rehovot.
The cycle will continue tomorrow (Tuesday) with four more games.
Elitzur Ashkelon - Hapoel Habel Modi'in 110:117 (after extra time)
A huge game in Ashkelon ends with a victory for the home team that maintains a perfect record after seven rounds, while on the other hand Hapoel 'Mega Or' Hebal Modi'in is still without a win.
The Southerners led throughout most of the stages of the game, but Yehu Orland's team managed to stay close mainly thanks to Karon DeShields (30 points, 9 assists) and Niv Belul (28 points).
The close game continued until the end and in the last quarter the guests managed to take the lead.
Even when the host ran away, Haval Modi'in had Kron Deshields who managed to force overtime after 98:98 at the end of the legal time.
In the extra time, the experience and depth of the southerners made the difference.
Hapoel Afula - Maccabi Rehovot 57:78
After the victory in the previous round, Maccabi Rehovot stopped in the capital of the valley.
Roi Pearl's team once again presented a great defensive game and at the start of the last quarter went on a 4-16 run and secured victory.
Afula received a great game from Tuerlian Fitzpatrick (19 points) and scored 11 three-pointers at 39 percent.
On the other hand, Alonzo Coleman was stopped at only 8 points and Rehovot will look for a victory against Hapoel 'Mega Or' Habel Modi'in this coming Tuesday.

Maccabi City Ramat Gan - Maccabi City Ra'anana 89:99
Even before the season started, both teams had a fifty percent success rate from six games, and indeed we got a fairly balanced game between two teams that want to be in the top flight.
The team from Pinin Hasharon led for most of the minutes of the game, but towards the end of the third quarter and at the beginning of the last quarter, Kevin Kipers (34 points) and Elijah Hirsch reversed the result and secured victory for Yaniv Burger's team.
Jason Seagers provided another lukewarm game in which he scored only 12 points, and was missing for his team.
