A great victory for the Israeli women's basketball team yesterday (Thursday) over the Swedish team 68:75 in the Eurobasket qualifiers.
This is Israel's first victory since Sharon Drucker was appointed as the coach of the national team, and it happens precisely against the strong Sweden that finished the last European Championship in eighth place.
A great game by Alyssa Barron and Alex Cohen, and critical points at the end by Aden Rotberg and Gilly Eisner ensured a prestigious victory as part of the Eurobasket qualifiers, which will be held in Israel this summer.
