FC Bayern is apparently interested in Dutch international Cody Gakpo.
After the World Cup, there should be initial talks.
Doha/Munich – FC Bayern is keeping a close eye on Qatar these days.
On the one hand, more than half the team is in action at the 2022 World Cup, although there have been several injuries and bitter embarrassments.

With Cody Gakpo, the shooting star of the previous World Cup has obviously come into focus.

The 23-year-old has been attracting attention in the Dutch Eredivisie for some time.
In the past two years, Gakpo has formed a feared duo with DFB star Mario Götze.

Gakpo transfer possible in winter: FC Bayern has other plans
Even a winter change is not excluded.
However, Salihamidzic had only recently ruled out transfers in winter.
With Ryan Gravenberch, Bayern had lured another Dutchman who was not nominated for the World Cup from the Eredivisie to Munich only in the summer.

However, midfielder Gravenberch has not yet been able to assert himself in the record champions' star ensemble.
Gakpo would be a different type of player and is versatile on offense.
With Konrad Laimer from Leipzig, Bayern have probably already reached an agreement with a dream player.
