Hankofen/Pipinsried - relegation hit in the Gäuboden!
On the 23rd matchday of the Bavarian Regionalliga, SpVgg Hankofen-Hailing welcomes FC Pipinsried.
There is a lot at stake for both teams in the relegation battle.
But FC Pipinsried in particular is doomed to win.
Because the team from the Dachau hinterland is now on a direct relegation zone.
With 21 points, the FCP is in 19th place, the first relegation place is three points away.
Hankofen (25 points) is also on such a table, although they still have a catch-up game against 1. FC Nürnberg II in hand.
Hankofen against Pipinsried in the live ticker: FCP ends the negative trend
After the chaotic days around Frank Peuker, who only endured one game on the Pipinsried coaching bench, the trio of ex-FCP player Ati Lushi, ex-1860 professional Herbert Paul and sports director Tarik Sarisakal are now in charge taken over by the team.
In the first game under the new coaching team, however, there was a bitter last-minute defeat against the Würzburg Kickers.
“We can definitely build on the performance against Würzburg.
In the end it wasn't enough to score points, but we have to work hard for this luck," Ati Lushi told

before the game against the newly promoted team from Lower Bavaria .
He can almost draw on full resources, only Alexander Langen is absent due to illness.
Lushi sees Hankofen as "a tough task" and goes on to say: "It will be a fighting game on deep ground, of course.
But that's how it is everywhere at the end of November.
An absolutely trend-setting duel for us, and that's how we will approach it."
