A Welsh football fan who came to Qatar with his son and his friends, died yesterday (Friday) before his national team's match against Iran.
According to the BBC Wales report, 62-year-old Kevin Davies from Pembrokeshire died of natural causes and was unable to make it to the stadium to see Wales lose 2:0.
His family has been offered assistance from the British Embassy, with support from the Cymru Football Supporters' Association, which helps fans at the tournament.

The Embassy of Wales fans said: "Unfortunately we lost one of the stones of the Red Wall yesterday in Qatar, our sincere condolences. Our hearts go out here in Doha and to his family in Wales. May he rest in peace."
The Football Association of Wales confirmed the sad news and said: "Deepest condolences from everyone at the association. Our thoughts are with Kevin's family and friends at this sad time. We are in contact with his family to help in any way we can."
