A whole village is in shock.
Eichenried – Reinhard Kreuzpointner from Eichenried died in a tragic traffic accident at the age of only 34.
Only eight days before the accident, Reinhard Kreuzpointner and his Monika had said yes in the registry office in Moosinning and then celebrated extensively with family and friends.
Happiness seemed perfect for the young father.
The plan was to go to a family hotel with their little daughter Johanna (2), who meant everything to him.
In addition to his family, football, fishing, concerts and American football were his great passions.
Two days after his marriage, the qualified electrician was with his best friends at the Allianz Arena for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' NFL game against the Seattle Seahawks.
His colleagues at SV Eichenried are also speechless.
"It's like in a bad movie, we're just stunned," says Stefan Huber, chairman of SV Eichenried.
"The 'Rocky', as he was called by his friends in football, went through all the youth teams and then played in the men's first team and in the reserve of the SVE and recently also in the AH." The 34-year-old has it brought to several hundred games for the green-whites in his entire career, in which he mostly acted in defense.
"When he was very young, when he was usually a head taller than his opponents and teammates, his free kicks from afar were particularly feared," says Huber.
In the men's area he was mostly set in defense.
"In the last decade he was a permanent fixture in the second team and was in almost every training session," recalls the SVE chairman.
Even after moving to AH, he insisted on coming to the "Zwoaten" training session on Thursday and enjoying the beer afterwards in good company.
After all, his best friends all played in the second team.

"He was actually always there, whether it was a club party, club night, training, home or away game," Huber knows.
“The Reine was also on site at almost every work assignment and supported the association.
He was just a fine guy who is now sorely missed by his teammates.” He never wanted to be the center of attention.
"He was just there and put everyone in a good mood with his endearing manner."
Another great passion was going to concerts and festivals.
So once a year we went to Rock im Park in Nuremberg with Spezln – a few tickets were already booked for next year as well.
But the Eichenrieder doesn't only leave a gaping gap with his family and friends.
Reinhard Kreuzpointner was also appreciated and loved by his work colleagues from Sempt EW.
In addition, he had been working at the golf course in Eichenried for some time and passed his handicap.
In addition, he was an avid fisherman for the Erding district fishing club throughout his life.
"Just as his father Karl took him with him when he was young, Reine has now taken his daughter Johanna with him to go fishing," says Huber, who is still stunned and wonders: "Why?

The SVE chairman says that Reinhard Kreuzpointner, when asked what he loves most about his wife in an interview for the wedding newspaper, said: "She's over with me and does all the shit." For his Monika, he even has his Fear of flying overcome.
"In order to support the strong wife in these difficult times, we set up a donation account together with the municipality of Moosinning," reports SVE Chairman Huber.
