World Cup 2022: the English "celebrate" their draw against the United States with the family

To unearth smiles on English faces, it took until the end of the game.

Held in check by the United States (0-0), the Three Lions took advantage of their relatives from the end of the game.

Harry Kane and Harry Maguire, in particular, were able to kiss their wives and find their children in the stands of the Al-Bayt stadium in Al-Khor.

The famous Wags (wifes and girlfriends) which are so often discussed on the sidelines of England matches during major competitions.

Phil Foden, left on the bench by Gareth Southgate to the chagrin of the English press, also found comfort in the stands.

Players like Conor Gallagher, Callum Wilson, Aaron Ramsdale, Kalvin Philips or Luke Shaw said hello to their friends.

These images are reminiscent of those of Euro 2021, where the Three Lions sometimes passed over tarpaulins to interact with very agitated English supporters.

After the game, Harry Kane decided that the draw against Team USA was not a bad result for England.

“This draw puts us in a good position in the group, recalled the top scorer of the 2018 edition. We know that we can play better, that's for sure, but it's still a draw in the World Cup, where no match isn't easy.

Maybe people thought after our first game that we were going to crush all our opponents, but that's not the case.
