Mount first met his niece, now three years old, the daughter of Mount's older sister Stacey, around the game in Al-Rajjan.

This shared a photo of the soccer star and the child on social networks.

'After three and a half years I finally got to see my little brother and Poppy met her Uncle Mason for the first time.

What a day," wrote Mount's sister, who lives in Australia, where strict entry rules have been in place for the past few years due to the corona pandemic.

"I can't express how proud I am to be a big sister," added Sister Stacey.
