An unusual event in the derby of Izmir in the minor league in Turkey.
The game blew up after 22 minutes following a number of violent and almost unprecedented incidents, including a fan who burst onto the grass, took the horn flag and vigorously hit the opponent's goalkeeper with it.
As part of the 15th round of the second league in Turkey, Guztapa hosted Altai for a mid-table battle with only one point separating the two city rivals.
After 19 minutes, a god-awful riot broke out in the stadium as Altai fans threw flares and firecrackers at Guztaffe fans, hitting several fans who were badly injured and taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances that were allowed onto the pitch to give them serious treatment.
It really didn't end there, because in an attempt to "revenge" a Guztape fan burst into the grass, took the horn flag and hit Ozan, the Altai goalkeeper, who was hit in the face and treated.

The Turkish Football Association announced that the match would continue from the 20th minute on at a different time and the fans left the stadium, but at the same time tempers flared near the dressing rooms and it was reported that the police forces who were there to secure the match had to intervene and separate the players.
