The misery began in Landsberg - now SC Riessersee is in the middle of a difficult phase.

After the derby defeat against Bad Tölz on Friday, he also lost out in Lindau in the penultimate.

Lindau

– What's going on with SC Riessersee?

Suddenly he staggers more through the ice hockey Oberliga Süd than he seems somehow stable.

The derby defeat on Friday (see article below) was followed late yesterday afternoon by a not undeserved 3:4 defeat at the penultimate in Lindau.

Looking back, the disaster probably began in Landsberg.

A tactically wild idea, which was then rewarded with a 9:6 success.

Maybe too much of a good thing.

Physically and fighting not quite up to par, the SCR presented itself against the Tölzer Löwen, but the performance in Lindau seemed inexplicably uptight and inhibited for 40 minutes.

Logical: In terms of personnel, the squad has been decimated more and more in the past few days.

But: There is a lack of basic elements such as duel behavior, a controlled game in your own zone.

The team looks exhausted.

And that is also punished in the penultimate.

Picking up points easily doesn't exist in the Oberliga.

Also had to find out about Memmingen and Deggendorf on Sunday, who dropped their points in Passau and Landsberg.

Further failures decimate the squad

But first the medical bulletin: Sebastian Cimmerman and Marlon Wolf joined the well-known failures of Ryker Killins and Christoph Eckl after the Tölz game.

On top of that, Ville Hyvärinen was handed a game misconduct penalty after the final siren of the derby.

Highly controversial: The Finn flicked the puck towards the referee at the end, as happens many times during a period.

But the referees saw this as unsportsmanlike, as criticism, as lack of control.

The defender was already missing.

Many bad passes, lax duels, too slow on the man - SCR seems strangely sluggish

So there were only five men at the back.

And although the SCR still brought enough quality onto the ice, it seemed strangely sluggish on Sunday at Lake Constance and didn't get into the duels.

As in Landsberg, the opponent was allowed many shots on goal, there were many bad passes in the build-up that never gave rise to security.

The result: Lindau, who by no means shone but worked honestly, simply and bravely, was given one chance after the other.

A shot ratio of 26:15 against Riesserseer after 40 minutes spoke volumes.

And again there were plenty of easy goals: Daniel Steifenhofer flicked the puck with his backhand rather pro forma in the direction of the box, the disc slipped through to make it 1-0.

Shortly thereafter, the SCR lost a single target and Florian Lüsch hits the cross corner from a distance.

The otherwise solid Michael Boehm didn't look good either.

Three hits in the parade series are not enough for a success

The offensive actions at SCR came primarily from the parade series, or at the beginning from the tireless youngster Veit Oswald, who tried everything but was lost on his own.

After goals from Robin Soudek and Lubor Dibelka twice, there was even hope for a positive end for a short time.

But as fast as the SCR was in front, Lindau turned the encounter again so quickly.

There they were once again, the memories of the Landsberg game.

Lindau needed two minutes - and was in front.

The difference to Landsberg: This time the Riesserseer found no way to turn around again.

Despite a storm in the final section, despite constant fire on Leon Doubrawa in the Lindauer box.

The disc didn't want to go in, also because the Lindauers threw themselves into every shot and blocked as much as they could.

The points stayed at Lake Constance.

And not undeservedly so, as coach Pat Cortina admitted afterwards.

"Lindau was better for 60 minutes." Since the Landsberg game "we've lost our game".

Now "the right track" had to be found again.

Cortina rated the final section as a good start.

"But we have to bring that over 60 minutes."
