Doha - The whole of football Germany is in shock after the sensational 2-1 victory of the Japanese over the DFB team.

After the historic 2-1 victory of the Saudis against Argentina, the Japanese victory marks the second big surprise of this World Cup 2022. In fact, Japan can almost secure the round of 16 with a win against Costa Rica.

Japan's opponents Costa Rica didn't give a good picture at the start.

Luis Fernando Suárez's side went down 7-0 against Spain with little resistance.

Japan may not have the level of Spain and Costa Rica can also be expected to do better on the second day of the game.

A point win for the Costa Ricans would still be a surprise.

On the third day of the game there will be a duel between Japan and Spain - Costa Rica will have to play against Germany (both duels are scheduled for December 1st).
