Ice hockey district league team EV Aich didn't miss a beat at EC Pfaffenhofen 1b and is still unbeaten.

– At least temporarily, EV Aich had conquered the top of the table in the central district league group on Saturday evening.
This was made possible by a convincing 9:1 victory at EC Pfaffenhofen 1b.
The team from the Moosburg suburb had everything under control from the start and shot out a reassuring 3-0 lead through Sebastian Lachner (11th), Jannis Gabler (13th) and Christoph Schwenk (14th).
And that despite the fact that Aich was outnumbered three times, which Pfaffenhofen used to score from Tim Maier shortly before the half-time siren (19').
"Despite being outnumbered, we often had more chances than our opponents in these situations, which also documents the difference in play," analyzed EVA board member Hanns Koller.
"Draw" in an argument
The second round continued in the same style.
The guests combined well and missed good chances, but still extended their lead to 5:1 thanks to Lachner (23rd) and Christian Poetzel (30th).
Things got a little rougher after that – and so Poetzel and Kevin Steiger clashed with Pfaffenhofeners Robert Majewski and John Kohnle (33').
Result: a tie with "two plus two" for Poetzel and Majewski and "five plus playing time" for Steiger and Kohnle.
That didn't change anything about the game.
Lachner (34th) and Florian Erl (34th) made it 7:1 within 27 seconds.

So it went into the final period, where Lachner was brought down by an attack from behind and converted the penalty to 8:1 (45th).
Tarek Mustapha scored the final point with a majority (49th).
"If we had been a bit more consistent in converting chances, it could have gone into double digits," says Hanns Koller.
“But we are still the only undefeated team.
For the time being, we don’t give a damn whether we’re first.”
